"I was born in Dinuba, CA but moved to Fresno, CA for college. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's of Arts in English. I’m excited to say that I am accepted into Fresno State's MFA program for creative writing. I start grad school this fall! I consider myself a foodie. My partner and I search for the coolest vegetarian/vegan spots whenever we travel. I like to play video games, collect CDs in my free time, and write poetry. A few of my poems were published in a journal at my college, and I won the 2018 undergraduate Larry Levis poetry prize. I like to write poems about my experience transitioning, and coming from a Hispanic family. I hope that someday they will get published, and that other trans individuals can find hope through, or relate to my poetry." - Aidan
